Starving Arts Literary Magazine

Billed as “the starving, bleeding, vomiting edge of modern literature,” the Starving Arts literary magazine featured both established authors and total wretched starving unknowns. It’s a real piece of history here at Starving Arts, and was for years a premier source of fresh voices and experimental styles in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. The last issue featured work by Jennifer Hyde, Martin Jervis, Robert Levin and more.

Sadly, the literary magazine is no longer maintained, and so no new work is being accepted for the time being. You can however, see the remnants of this hallowed tradition here: Starving Arts literary magazine.
